1993.5 Lotus Esprit Turbo SE

Originally purchased from the local Vancouver Lotus dealer in May 1994. This is my 4th Lotus I have owned. Click these links to see my first three; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This 1993.5 Esprit was manufactured in May 1993 as a North American only 1993.5 Model which is a cross between the 1992 SE and European 1993 S4 Model. This is one of only five cars which came to Canada and the only Black on Raven 1993.5 Esprit sold in Canada for 1993 as stated by Lotus in the Vehicle Certificate of Provenance below. BODY:
Styled by the Lotus Design studio, the body shell is manufactured by the Vacuum Assisted Resin
Injection process and includes Kevlar reinforcement of the roof structure. Removable fiberglass sunroof.
Front and rear bumpers manufactured from RRIM offering protection against minor impact damage.
A front rubber lip spoiler to protect the underside of the front valance. Aerodynamic rear wing mounted
on tailgate. Engine air intake with K&N Air Filter located behind the rear right-hand quarter light complemented by further
ducting in the lower body sills for cooling. Warm air exits via cooling slats above engine bay.
CHASSIS:
Galvanized steel backbone, guaranteed against corrosion for eight years.
FRONT SUSPENSION:
Upper and lower wishbones with anti-roll bar. Lotus Eibach Coil springs co-axial
with telescopic Lotus Bilstein gas pressurized shock absorbers.
REAR SUSPENSION:
Upper and lower transverse links with box section trailing radius arms. Rear Adjustable Camber. Lotus Eibach Coil
springs co-axial with telescopic pressurized Lotus Bilstein gas shock absorbers. Aluminium hub camers.
STEERING
